Forage Center Welcomes New Program Specialist

The Forage Center for Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Education welcomes Sydna Cooper, Lena Choudhary, Sarah Lough, Thomas Stukes, and Frannie Varker as its first program specialists. These professionals – known as the “Forage Five” –  will work with the Center to advance its mission of promoting humanitarian and peacebuilding education.  The Board of Directors is pleased to have them as part of the team.  

FC President David Smith Speaks at Conservation International

FC President David Smith was invited to give a presentation at Conservation International (CI) on July 26, 2016 about the work of the Forage Center for Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Education, Inc. The meeting was hosted by CI, but the audience consisted of staff from the Institute for Multi-Track Diplomacy (IMTD).

In partnership with the Smithsonian Institution and ICCROM, the Forage Center helped facilitate a cultural first aid training in Washington, DC which focused on securing and protecting cultural heritage, including artifacts and artwork.
