Forage Center President David J. Smith has just released a new article about the COVID-19 implications for the Global South and particularly refugee and IDP communities. The article references conversations he has had had in recent days with colleagues in the field.

Forage Staff Present at Maryland Community College Conference
January 9, 2019
Forage Center Specialist Lena Choudhary and President David J. Smith presented on Forage Center work at the Association for Faculties for Advancement of Community College Teaching known as AFACCT conference on January 9, 2019 at the Community College of Baltimore County in Catonsville, Maryland. In "Learning How to Respond to Internally Displaced People/Refugees" attendees participated in a student activity designed to provide students with an understanding of the challenges and work of humanitarian aid workers caring for refugees or internally displaced people due to violence, war, poverty, or natural disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, or tsunamis.
